Fence & Deck Connection is proud to service Anne Arundel County, but we also love our neighbors just over the bridge on the Eastern Shore! This week’s #MakeoverMonday feature is a beautiful deck resurfacing project out of Chester, Maryland in Queen Anne’s County.
Tracy Ours, one of our talented Project Consultants worked with our clients to update their large waterfront property deck from wood to composite material. While we do offer demo and removal services, our clients chose to remove the existing deck boards and benches from the existing framework themselves.
Before: Wood Deck in Chester, MD
Once removed, we then installed approximately 907 sq. ft. of TimberTech Reserve decking in the stunning Driftwood color with hidden fasteners. Inspired by reclaimed wood, the heavy wire-brushed, low-gloss finish in the TimberTech Reserve line showcases the classic cathedral wood grain pattern on these resilient boards.
A matching feature board and fascia offers a more finished look. White textured fascia is doubled on the corners to meet the ground and close any gaps under the deck. Lastly, 27 ft. of white aluminum Victorian-style railing with black balusters sections off the front deck corners. The new deck will last for years to come its low-maintenance material will allow our clients to spend more time relaxing outdoors than worrying about sanding, staining, or cleaning!
After: Composite Deck in Chester, MD
