Brian Hannon, one of Fence & Deck Connection’s knowledgeable Project Consultants, met with homeowners in Edgewater, Maryland to discuss their vision for their new front porch, as their wood porch was showing signs of age. During that initial meeting, our Sales Consultants go over product recommendations and provide various color options of composite decking in various price points. Before:
We first removed the existing decking, railing, and porch columns, and installed a temporary roof support before installing the new decking. Once completed, we were able to place 120 sq. ft. of Trex Enhance decking in the Saddle color with a matching feature board. Saddle is an easy-to-match shade of medium brown, featuring a low-maintenance, wood-like grain pattern. The Trex Enhance Basics line offers the durability of composite, the affordability of wood, and fade and stain protections, as well as enhanced mold and mildew resistance, to make maintenance simple.
White vinyl Washington-style railing and white fascia accents the brown decking, and 4 x 4 Heritage 100 Series white vinyl porch columns replace the outdated and worn red wood columns. Four 6′ white steps lead up to the porch, welcoming homeowners and guests to the beautiful new space!
