GivingTuesday was created as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good, make a difference, and hopefully inspire others to do the same. There are so many different ways to show generosity in our communities on GivingTuesday, where neighbors help neighbors, and everyone has what they need. At Fence & Deck Connection, giving back to the communities we serve is at the heart of our business. The satisfaction of giving back to the local community that has supported our business is a tremendous feeling. Our employees consistently encourage and promote new ways in which we can help locals in need.
To show gratitude this Thanksgiving, we gifted our amazing employees with turkeys and pies to help celebrate the holiday. We truly appreciate their ongoing dedication and continued hard work throughout the year.
Many of our employees generously opted to have their holiday gifts donated to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, a nonprofit organization near and dear to our hearts.
One of the Anne Arundel County Food Bank’s larger pantries, Life of Victory Community Church in Glen Burnie, MD, was able to meet us at our Millersville location to pick up the employee donations.
In total, we donated 55 turkeys and 23 pies to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank’s largest pantry in Glen Burnie, MD. This food pantry provides food to meet basic nutritional needs for individuals and families in need. Their clients include children, adults, and/or senior citizens. Some may have limited or no income, others may have simply fallen on hard times, or have recently become unemployed.
We look forward to helping our Anne Arundel County community members in need for years to come, and encourage our neighbors, customers, and partners to join us in making a difference! November is Our Month of “Endless Gratitude”
November is also our month of “Endless Gratitude“. Once again we are giving thanks and giving back to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank this month. We are donating 1% of our residential sales profits to AACFB for the month of November. This is another way of GIVING THANKS and supporting those in need during the holidays.

Join Us for Our Annual Clothing & Toy Drive 12/3/22
This Saturday we will also be hosting our 16th Annual Holiday Drive Santa Under the Stars, benefitting The Blue Ribbon Project. We will be collecting new toys and clothing for children in foster care. In return, participants will receive a free photo with Santa, free ice skating, and enjoy hot cocoa and sweet treats.
