Before:
We removed and hauled away the existing deck before constructing a new free-standing, 290 sq. ft. deck with a seam board in the center. Instead of wood decking for the replacement deck, we installed TimberTech Legacy composite decking in the Pecan hue. TimberTech Legacy decking captures the essence of nature without the rigorous maintenance of wood. Defined by a textured hand-scraped finish and a complex blend of hues, no two boards in this collection are exactly alike and the premium polymer capped composite boards deliver real wood aesthetics you’ll never have to sand, stain, or seal. Pecan is a medium brown tone that creates a classic aesthetic resembling the varied hues of pecan hardwood, which is a type of hickory.
White vinyl Washington-style railing with black aluminum round balusters enclose the space, with aluminum inserts in the top and bottom rails for extra strength. The new deck is wrapped with white PVC fascia with mitered corners and capped with Cortex plugs. To round out the space, a matching set of seven 5′ wide steps replace the old set.
