Aluminum Fencing in Maryland: Makeover Monday

A backyard is more than just a patch of land behind your home; it’s an extension of your living space, a sanctuary for relaxation, and the place where some of your best family memories are made. One way to transform your outdoor haven into a secure, functional, and aesthetically pleasing space is by installing a backyard fence. Beyond its visual appeal, a well-designed fence brings an array of benefits that can enhance your lifestyle and the value of your property.

Aluminum is a beautiful fencing material that can raise curb appeal and provide a long-lasting safety barrier. A well-crafted aluminum fence may even increase the value of your property, and its high durability prevents trespassing and increases safety. Aluminum’s rust-resistant properties also make it a good choice for waterfront homes as well.

Project Consultant Jake Wolod worked with homeowners in Riva, Maryland to redesign their home’s perimeter fencing, replacing dilapidating split rail fence with high-quality American-made aluminum fencing, as well as sections of various sized wood fencing. The new look is elegant and extremely sturdy, lasting for years to come!

Before:

We first removed the existing wood fencing and replaced the property with the following sections of fencing:

  • 60′ of 8′ tall Board and Batten
  • 36′ of 4′ tall Board and Batten
  • One 4′ wide flat top wood walk gate
  • 205′ of 54″ tall 3-rail Ascott black Alumi-Guard aluminum fencing
  • One 8′ wide aluminum double gate
  • One 4′ wide aluminum walk gate
  • 6′ of 4′ 3-rail Ascott black Alumi-Guard aluminum fencing

The advantages of American-made fencing materials, especially when it comes to aluminum, often outweigh the perceived savings in terms of quality, reliability, and overall value for your investment.

Unlike many fence companies in Maryland and Delaware, Fence & Deck Connection ONLY uses high-quality American-made aluminum fencing materials. While other companies may offer greater savings using important materials, you are choosing a fence that is made with thinner metals and an unregulated powder coating process. This leaves your fence vulnerable to the elements, especially in coastal areas where the salt air is more prevalent. Additionally, the thinner materials and inferior coatings can start failing within its first few years and unlike Fence & Deck Connection, the fence would not be backed by a Lifetime Structural Warranty.

After:

There are numerous reasons to have a fence installed (or rebuilt) along your property line. Fence & Deck Connection is proud to provide Marylanders with a secure outdoor space that serves as a private area to relax, use as recreation, or entertain friends and family.
