Back in the summer of 2020, Fence & Deck Connection helped homeowners in White Plains build a beautiful new Trex deck off their sliding back door. Just a little over a year later, our clients decided they wanted to expand their outdoor space, allowing more room for gathering, dining, and relaxing. They knew just who to call to complete the task at hand — their original Project Consultant, Christopher Holmes!
This past fall, our crews extended the “like new” Trex composite deck using the existing design and color options.
Before: Trex Deck in Pebble Gray
The 16′ x 12′ deck was designed using Trex composite decking in the lovely Pebble Gray tone — a light heather grey with an easy-to-maintain, wood-like grain pattern. White Washington-style railing secured the space, with lighting on all posts for a beautiful nighttime atmosphere. To add on a second 16′ x 12′ platform, we first removed the railing, which was then used on the perimeter of the new deck. The expanded space is one step up from the original deck, which offers a nice distinction between the spaces — great for separate dining and gathering areas.
After: Trex Deck Extension in Pebble Gray
