Many townhome owners require the installation of a new or replacement deck based on HOA regulations. Our knowledgeable Project Consultants are able to work with homeowners to design a deck that fits within those rules and regulations, while adding design elements or color options that suit the homeowners needs if possible. For our customers in Glen Burnie, Jeff Gottleib helped to replace and extend their small, temporary wooden deck with a more modern design using more more maintenance-free TimberTech composite material!
Before:
We first removed the existing wood decking boards and railing, before constructing a new 21′ x 10′ pressure treated wood frame. We were then able to install TimberTech EDGE Prime+ Decking in Dark Cocoa with a matching seam board. The Prime+ collection of composite decking is defined by vivid color blending capturing the dimensional aesthetic of traditional lumber, clean lifework for a simple, inviting look, and lighter weighted scalloped boards for easy installation but a secure foot feel. Dark Cocoa color boasts a warm brown shade, flecked with varied hues that give natural color dimension while also staying true to TimberTech’s low maintenance and high-performance features.
White Washington-style railing with black aluminum balusters encloses the new space, and fascia was trimmed with white PVC. The new deck offers much more outdoor living space than the previous setup, and will require far less maintenance than wood decking!
