A new deck can completely transform the overall appearance of your home and backyard. Looking for a bit of a refresh with superior craftsmanship and long-lasting composite decking, homeowners in Glen Burnie reached out to Fence & Deck Connection to design their outdoor space. Additionally, they wanted to add a custom grilling nook that shelters the grill master from rain, or unbearable sun rays. Project Consultant Joel Lewis worked with our clients in Anne Arundel County to install a beautiful new composite deck that brightens up the home’s exterior. Take a look at the transformation below!

Our customers first remove and hauled away the existing deck before our crews were able to replace the backyard space with 401 sq.ft. of TimberTech Edge Prime+ decking in Sea Salt Gray. White Washington-style vinyl railing with black aluminum balusters enclose the new deck, and white vinyl fascia wraps the perimeter. White vinyl lattice skirts the underside of the deck, keeping pests and critters out and the deck’s underside from view. Two sets of stairs lead down to the concrete walkway and grassy yard.
Many decks are designed with a “grill bumpout” which provides a designated area for a grill, as to not take up space from the main area of the deck. Our Anne Arundel County customers were looking for a more unique, custom space and we were happy to bring their vision to life! We installed a 3′ x 7′ pitched roof covering with an unfinished ceiling, complete with a shingled roof. This small grill covering ensures food and the griller stays dry during rainy weather!
