This week, we’re featuring a Trex Lineage deck installed in Bowie, Maryland. With the design help of Project Consultant Tom Simpson, our PG County clients transformed their wood deck into a beautiful work of art that completely transforms backyard aesthetic!
Before:
We first removed and hauled away the existing decking and framing before installing a 300 sq. ft. pressure treated wood frame. The new expertly crafted deck was adorned with Trex Lineage decking in the Carmel hue. The light and calming taupe tone of Carmel embraces the classic glow of white sands and Cyprus-covered cliffs, with its warm brown and grey hues that add an unyielding elegance to any outdoor space.
A must have for homeowners looking for the coolest decking in the market, the Trex Lineage line is comprised of lighter, calming tones with subtle streaking, and is specifically engineered to to be cooler under the sun. As with all Trex decking, the Lineage line is from an innovative blend of 95% reclaimed wood and plastic film, and its low-maintenance material cleans easily with just soap and water!
A feature board around the deck’s perimeter was designed also using the Carmel board. To complement the sandy brown and grey tones, we installed white Washington-style vinyl railings with round black aluminum balusters. A Carmel colored drink rail tops the railing for a sophisticated look that takes the deck to the next level.
