Tan Vinyl Fencing in Glen Burnie: Makeover Monday

Upgrading to vinyl fencing offers Maryland homeowners a blend of aesthetics, durability, and convenience. Unlike traditional wood fences that require regular painting, staining, and repairs, vinyl fencing is virtually maintenance-free. It resists rot, insects, and weathering, retaining its color and structural integrity for years with just occasional washing. Not only does this mean, long-term cost savings, but also less hassle, so you can spend more time enjoying your backyard!

Homeowners in Glen Burnie contacted Fence & Deck Connection with hopes of upgrading their wood fencing that was overgrown with weeds and had several areas of rot and weathering. Project Consultant Chad Costello worked with our Anne Arundel County clients to design a new beautiful fenced in yard using both strong and aesthetically pleasing tan vinyl fencing.

Before:

We first removed 443 feet of existing wood fencing. We then replaced the home’s perimeter with 380 feet of 6′ tall tan vinyl privacy fencing with New England style post caps. We also installed one 10′ wide matching double gate with a flat top.

While white vinyl fencing is a classic choice, opting for tan can offer several distinct advantages depending on your preferences and home style. Tan fencing often blends more seamlessly with natural surroundings, especially if your home has earthy tones or is located in a wooded area. It can also create a warmer, more inviting aesthetic. Unlike white vinyl, tan better conceals dirt and imperfections and tends to be more forgiving when it comes to showing dirt, dust, or minor scuffs.
