TimberTech composite decking is always a great option for clients looking to upgrade their existing wooden deck into a durable outdoor space that lasts for years and requires less maintenance. David King, a Fence & Deck Connection Project Consultant, worked with homeowners in Davidsonville, Maryland to transform an outdated deck into a work of beauty.
BEFORE
Using the existing frame and two additional footers to help stabilize the front beam, we replaced the existing deck boards with Antique Leather TimberTech PRO Reserve decking. With this type of composite decking, our clients will never have to sand, seal, or stain ever again! It’s also extremely resisted to mold, mildew, and water damage, which means the boards won’t splinter, crack, or warp. All colors in the Reserve Collection, like Antique Leather, are inspired by reclaimed wood and showcase a vivid and elegant blend of colors.
To accent the hue, we installed black aluminum Ultralox railing with a black Alta top rail, black rectangular Aluminum balusters, and 3×3 black aluminum Ultralox posts. Antique Leather feature boards and fascia wrap give the new space a more sophisticated, finished look. Matching steps and risers complete the newly renovated deck.
