This is just a note to let you know that the screen porch with eze breeze windows and deck is even better than we imagined! The whole process was very professional and Eric was exceptional in quickly responding to the items on our punch list. We've already gotten many compliments and I've even bought a portable propane heater so we can use the room in the winter. Fence & Deck is the most professional, customer-friendly, and good-for-your-word home improvement company I've ever dealt with! I will recommend you to anyone who asks. The only area that can stand improvement is letting me know in advance what the plan of the week is so we know what to expect. An email on Mon AM would suffice with updates emailed as necessary. From the first day you came to talk with us about an estimate, your staff has been professional and responsive to us. Whenever we'd call, we were helped right away. We were always connected to someone who knew about our project and who could help us make informed decisions. We want to express our sincere appreciation for the professionalism of the work crew. They were always on time and worked diligently throughout the day and past sundown. The crew leader was courteous and able to answer any question we had. He kept his team on task. He kept us informed of the process, what to expect each day, and brought us out to "inspect" his team's work before he left. They made sure the area was clean and ready for work the next day. Their workmanship is superb! We watched them measure tediously, every step of the way. They were serious about their work, and they seemed to have fun working together and getting the job done. A class act from start to finish. The sales rep. (Kyle Johnson) showed up at the date and time agreed upon. We discussed the kind of fencing required and he made several suggestions to improve the look of the project. Then the company's VP (Ben Wolod) followed up by coming out and accurately marking the project. Finally, the installer (Travis) spent 2 full days professionally installing the fencing, including a 12 foot drive through gate.

We just wanted to send you a note to let you know how pleased we are with the new 14'x30' deck that Fence & Deck Connection built for us. The GeoDeck composite has the feel of real wood on your bare feet, without the danger of splinters, or the need for annual waterproofing treatments or staining. We've dined outside for about half the evenings since it's been completed and really enjoy the added living space to our home. We were a bit apprehensive to contract with a company name like "Fence and Deck Connection" for a room enclosure, but were *very* pleased with the quality of work and the responsiveness of the company throughout the project. Our room enclosure turned out beautiful. From the initial sales visit from Dan Naumann, through the project management by Carl Schmidt, to the final visit from Paje Barnhill, your staff's communications throughout the project was excellent and they met all of our concerns throughout the entire project. In addition to the room enclosure, we added a 10' by 16' deck which looks very nice. Overall, we were very pleased that the project was completed so quickly and we highly recommend Fence & Deck Connection.

Just wanted to tell you what a great experience we had with your company - from start to finish. Dan started it off with a very professional visit, giving us an estimate without being the least bit pushy. When he left, we felt like we knew exactly what we were getting and for what price. You followed up with the pre-construction meeting, which put us further at ease with your suggestions and clarifications on how the whole process was to occur. Then there was the construction itself. Scott, even while battling the elements (among other issues) was superb to deal with. Whenever there was the slightest glitch, he would stop and consult with us prior to proceeding. During each discussion, he would politely inform us of all options, and then ask us which way we wanted it done. We learned to rely heavily on his opinion, and allowed him to make the call in most every case. Thank you for one of the most pleasant home improvement experiences we've ever had. We will recommend your company without hesitation to anyone looking for a fence contractor. Overall good experience. We had issues with our HOA and they honored our contract a year later. Did an excellent job following the contour of the yard. Dug the post holes by hand. Had some issues with the gates and they came back and fixed them no questions asked. The fence looks great!!

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my new fence. It turned out just beautiful. I couldn't believe how fast it was finished. That was a lot of work for just two men. I believe tha name of the man who put it up was Mike. Could you please tell him how happy we are with it and what a good job he did. It's very hard to get people to do good work these days. We try to be very careful about who we hire to do projects because of all the nightmarish stories we hear. I use to work for Inspections and Permits and have heard all the horror stories. Just a short note to tell you how much we are enjoying our deck. The men who did the work were outstanding. They were very professional and they completed the project in three days. My wife loves the arbor and I think the low voltage lighting adds a nice touch. We called FDC for an estimate, and they set us up for an appointment within days. The sales rep was very professional, very fair and not pushy at all. He made suggestions for things that we would have otherwise not known about. I had sketched my own design and he did not try to change it. (I had other estimates prior and their reps totally redesigned my plan, and did not want to hear what I wanted). He had decking samples ready for us to see during our appointment and had the paver samples delivered the next day for us to look at. A proposed plan/blueprint was presented to us within a week of signing the contract. It took several weeks for the permit. The deck was completed in 2 days, and the paver walkways were done in about 4 days. After all work was done, a supervisor came to inspect the work done and go over care instructions and to answer any questions. We love our deck and walkways and always get compliments!! FDC is GREAT and highly recommended!!!!

I would like to thank you and the other individuals who planned and built our screened room for the most professional and pleasant experience we have ever had when contracting work to be done in our home. Special thanks to Mr. Dan Naumann who first listened to what we had envisioned, then presented us with suggestions for materials. He answered our many questions and I was impressed with his answers. He was even able to provide the cost of building the screened room as soon as we discussed our decision. This was not true with others with whom I spoke. I found they weren't really listening to us. We received the drawings from Mr. Carl Schmidt within just a few days and he promptly scheduled a time to discuss them. Mr. Rubush, you actually saved us money when I told you how much BG&E wanted to charge us to move our compressor. You contacted someone else who provided an estimate of $600 less than BG&E had given us: and the compressor was moved the next day. I never expected your assistance, but was so glad to receive it. The crew that actually built the screened room was both professional and courteous. They even cleaned up the yard before they left each day. Eric was particularly helpful when discussing a change and getting back to me with the additional cost. Mrs. Funkhouser was very pleasant to talk with concerning payment. Ms. Barnhill even completed my warranties for me so that all I had to do was sign them. I hope my letter adequately expresses our appreciation. I wasn't able to remember all of the names of the people involved, but each and every one was wonderful to work with. All in all, this was the best experience I have ever had in contracting work and would not hesitate in the least to call on Fence and Deck Connection in the future. Judy & Jerry

After 3 fences by Long Co. I was not satisfied with the workmanship & quality of the last project - also not being able to communicate with the workers. So going through my files I came upon your advertisement - I was sold. My concern was a privacy fence in the backyard. Meeting your sales rep Kyle with his polite manner & neat appearance he proceeded to answer all my questions. One thing, I did not know that I could have an eight foot fence - that really pleased me & you taking care of permits & surveying was another plus.
