Position: Marketing Specialist
Company: Fence & Deck Connection
Location: Annapolis, Maryland (Hybrid)
Fence & Deck Connection is seeking a Marketing & Community Relations to join the Marketing department of our Anne Arundel County-based team. This unique role is an excellent opportunity for energetic individuals interested in wearing many hats and pitching in where needed.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Marketing team with various tasks and projects as needed
- Communicate effectively with community partners, organizations, and vendors
- Organize and keep samples, giveaways, and collateral in stock
- Engage and network with potential customers and like-minded businesses at local Chambers of Commerce throughout Maryland
- Market and research employment opportunities for Fence & Deck Connection and our direct partners
- Attend local job fairs and work alongside high schools and colleges to promote opportunities available at Fence & Deck Connection
- Visit job sites and photograph fence and deck projects for marketing purposes
- Assist or take complete lead on private and public Fence & Deck Connection company events
- Develop and become proficient with onboarding processes with Salesforce (CRM)
- Work alongside the Marketing team to develop and implement new marketing strategies
Qualifications:
- College Degree or 3 yrs work experience in Marketing or Community Relations preferred
- Valid MD Driver’s License
- Strong work ethic with a “can do” attitude
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Extremely well organized, ability to muli-task, and great with time-management
- Capable of providing accurate information to the Marketing team, coworkers, and clients/vendors in a timely manner
